The Irishman 22-Year-Old Single Malt released at Duty-Free

The Irishman 22-Year-Old Single Malt has introduced its 600 bottles exclusively for The Irish Whisky Collection at The Loop in Dublin Airport, and Cork Airport. This is the first ever double-distilled expression in The Irishman range.

This exceptional single malt was distilled in 2001, and is the product of being aged in American oak bourbon barrels for the first 21 years, and then being matured for a further 12 months in tawny port casks from the warm Douro Valley of Portugal. Each bottle of The Irishman 22-Year-Old Single Malt is numbered and delivered in a stylish leather case. It is bottled at cask strength with an ABV of 49.43 percent. The suggested retail cost of the product is €500.

At nose, the liquid has a dried fruit larder; distinctive but delicate aroma with a taste of candied orange with a hint of sweetness; warm spices and dark chocolate.
