Bunnahabhain debuts 32 YO whisky

Bunnahabhain, a Scotch whisky brand and The Whisky Exchange have joined forces to produce a whisky that has been aged for more than three decades in a single oloroso sherry butt.

Only 537 bottles of the spirit were produced, and each one sells for US$2,505 on The Whisky Exchange.

The liquid, featuring layers of sticky caramel and sweet spice, has 54.8 percent ABV.

Its flavour profile features a robust base of coffee, well-used leather, and dried fruit, which support notes that are strong on incense spice and dried fruits, which have been soaked in rum, along with a lingering rancio finish.
