Odisha to install beach shacks soon

To boost beach tourism in the state of Odisha, the government of Odisha has decided to build 15 beach shacks at five additional tourist locations in the coastal state.

Odisha's Tourism Department has announced plans to open beach shacks in Gopalpur, Pati Sonapur, Chandipur, Talasari, and Paradip.

The shacks will be built on land identified by the Tourism Department, with common infrastructure provided by the government. The state government has allowed serving of liquor at beach shacks to promote tourism, and the shacks will operate throughout the year or as per the 2023-24 excise policy of Odisha.
