Sanjay Singh arrested in alleged Delhi excise policy case

On 4th October 2023, the Enforcement Directorate detained AAP MP Sanjay Singh in connection with an alleged money laundering case which is allegedly connected to the now scrapped Delhi Excise Policy for the 2021-22 fiscal.

Earlier in May of this year, Sanjay Singh said in a letter to the Finance Secretary, T V Somanathan that the ED Director and Assistant Director purposefully and without justification connected his name to the suspected liquor scam, destroying his reputation and defaming him.
