Retail liquor outlets in Gurugram hike prices By Spiritz Desk 19 Oct 2023 in Alert New Update Liquor prices have gone up by 33 percent in Gurugram, on an average, as more and more customers from Delhi are turning to Gurugram for their liquor purchases since there are more popular liquor brands there than there are in Delhi. Taking advantage of the situation, retailers in Gurugram have increased liquor prices and discontinued offering discounts and offers. For example, a bottle of Jack Daniel's that was sold for Rs.1800 in Gurugram is currently selling for Rs.2300. In a similar vein, the price of a bottle of Glenlivet 12 in Gurugram has increased from Rs.2900 to Rs.3400, whereas the price of Jameson has increased from Rs.1200 to Rs.1600, and that of Johnie Walker’s Black Label from Rs.1800 to Rs.2200, in the satellite city . In the capital, the majority of these brands are not available. The cost of beer in Gurugram has increased as well. For example, a 330ml bottle of Kingfisher Premium, which used to retail in Gurugram at Rs.90, now costs Rs.120, and a Corona bottle costs Rs.200 in Gurugram, which earlier was costing Rs.165.
