Arvind Kejriwal likely to skip ED summon

Delhi's Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, who was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the scrapped excise policy case today, is likely to skip the summon.

According to the reports, he and Punjab's CM Bhagwant Mann are leaving for Madhya Pradesh on the same day in the run-up to the Assembly polls. On Thursday, Kejriwal demanded the ED withdraw its notice, saying it was "illegal and politically motivated". He alleged that the summon was sent at the behest of the BJP.

He was summoned by the ED in connection with its probe into the money laundering linked to the Delhi's liquor policy case.
