3 dead after consuming spurious liquor in Bihar

In a distressing incident, three individuals have lost their lives, and one person has been hospitalized, allegedly due to the consumption of spurious liquor in Bihar's Sitamarhi district.

It is worth noting that Bihar has had a prohibition on the sale and consumption of liquor since 2016 under the administration of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Despite stringent measures and an ongoing crackdown on bootleggers in the state, illegal sales of liquor persist.

This unfortunate incident echoes a similar tragedy that occurred in April this year in the East Champaran district, where over 30 people lost their lives after consuming spurious liquor.
