Coca-Cola India debuts into India's alcoholic beverages market By Spiritz Desk 11 Dec 2023 in Latest News New Update Coca-Cola India has made entry into the Indian alcoholic beverages market by introducing Lemon-Dou, its global alcoholic ready-to-drink beverage. The company has initiated a limited market of Lemon-Dou in Goa and in certain regions of Maharashtra. As per a report, the company is currently conducting pilot tests of Lemon-Dou in select states across India. Lemon-Dou is a blend of shochu, a distilled liquor with similarities to brandy and vodka, combined with lime. Lemon-Dou, known as ‘Chuhai', was introduced in Japan in 2018, and it marked Coca-Cola’s inaugural venture into the ready-to-drink alcohol category.
