Yamazaki Mizunara Single Malt made by meticulously malt whiskies all aged for a minimum of 18 years in solely Mizunara casks, created in honour of Suntory Whisky’s centenary. The result showcases the rare, distinctive beauty of Mizunara oak, which is considered the signature ‘enhancer’ of Yamazaki, providing unique Japanese character and elegance.
The 2023 limited release seeks to highlight the unique essence of Yamazaki by combining Suntory’s flagship single malt with the irreplicable element of time and the sought-after characteristics of Japanese Mizunara oak.
Tasting Notes
Aroma
Rich and elegant top notes of dark cherry and ripe peach, with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg.
Pallate
Subtly spiced organette with undernotes of Japanese incense.
Finish
Long and lingering, accentuated with clove, sandalwood and hints of dried coconut.
Availability
The limited-time offering will be available for retail and feature on the menu of star properties in select cities including Mumbai, Pune, Goa, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi-NCR, and Rajasthan.
