Glenglassaugh introduces 44YO single malt at DDF

Brown-Forman-owned Glenglassaugh, a Highland Scotch whisky brand, launched a 44 year old single malt at Dubai Duty Free (DDF). Travel retail-exclusive Glenglassaugh 44 Years Old celebrates the 40th anniversary of Dubai Duty Free.

The whisky is part of the brand’s Serpentine Coastal Cask Collection and was exclusively matured in a Pedro Ximénez Sherry hogshead. The whisky boasts salted caramel, blood orange, and blueberry pastille on the nose, with cherry, almond, and mandarin orange balsamic on the palate. Pink grapefruit, star anise, and nori highlight the finish of the liquid.

The single cask expression debuted at the end of December 2023, with only 274 bottles available. It is bottled at 45.6 percent ABV and is priced at US$6,600.
