Captain Morgan launches malt-based RTDs

Diageo-owned rum brand Captain Morgan has expanded its presence in the ready to drink (RTD) category with their first ever malt canned beverage named Captain Morgan Sliced.

Captain Morgan Sliced RTD is processed in four flavours including Pineapple Daiquiri; Strawberry Margarita; Passionfruit Hurricane; and Mango Mai Tai. Each drink has an ABV of 5.8 percent and comes in packs of 12 for US$19.99.

Previously, the brand had released a range of rum based bottled cocktails and partnered with a coconut water brand.
