Telangana plans to curb home delivery of liquor

Telangana government is endeavouring to curb illegal practice of liquor home delivery across the state. In Telangana, home delivery of liquor is illegal but the home delivery of liquor business has grown in the state at night after the liquor shops close their operations as per the prescribed time.

As per the report, Telangana Prohibition and Excise Commission's Commissioner expressed serious concern over the home delivery of liquor and warned that stringent action would be taken against such acts which violate the state’s excise laws and regulation.
