Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s petition against his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) will come up before the Supreme Court today. He was arrested on 21st March in a PMLA case linked to Delhi’s now-scrapped liquor policy.

Recently, the Delhi High Court denied relief to Kejriwal stating that the central probe agency had submitted material to suggest that he had allegedly conspired to formulate the policy and was involved in demanding kickbacks of Rs.100 crore.

The day after the verdict, the AAP leader approached the Supreme Court for relief. However, he could not get an urgent hearing. Today, a bench comprising Justice Sanjiv Khanna and Justice Dipankar Datta will hear the Chief Minister’s petition.
