Liquor serving hours extended in Bengaluru

In a welcome move, the Karnataka government has extended the liquor-serving hours in clubs, star hotels, and bars & restaurants in Bengaluru. These establishments can serve alcoholic beverages till 1 am. Previously,  such establishments could serve liquor till 11 pm only.

The order was issued  and would apply to the establishments under the BBMP limits. As per the order, establishments with CL-4, CL-6 (A) CL-7 and CL-7D licence can now operate from 9 am to 1 am. However, those holding CL-9 licenses can operate from 10 am to 1 am.
