Many alcobev brands to return in AP

With the formation of a new government in Andhra Pradesh, several alcobev brands are set to reappear on shelves after a five-year absence. This resurgence follows non-payment issues with suppliers under the previous government. Incoming Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu hints at imminent changes to the excise policy, with APSBCL already ordering in-demand liquor brands.

Many alcobev brands to return in AP

Amidst new government formation in Andhra Pradesh,  several alcobev brands are in move to return to the state as many liquor brands had disappeared from the shelves in the state during the last five years due to non- payment to suppliers by the outgoing state government.

 However, Chief Minister-designate N Chandrababu Naidu has given indications that one of the first policies to be tweaked in the state would be the excise policy. Andhra Pradesh State Beverages Corporation Limited (APSBCL) has started placing orders for liquor brands in demand.
