Telangana government mulls liquor price hike The Telangana government is considering its third liquor price increase in five years, marking the first such move since the Congress party's rise to power in December. The proposed increase will also affect license and registration fees for companies and distilleries. Earlier, in 2022, the then BRS government had last hiked the prices for all types of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and beer in Telangana.
