Komos enters the Indian market

Luxury tequila brand Komos has announced its debut in the Indian market, marking a significant milestone for connoisseurs of fine spirits across the country with its key markets being Delhi, Haryana, Mumbai, Goa, Hyderabad, Bangalore and a few others.

This globally inspired tequila seamlessly blends the age-old tradition of tequila distillation with European winemaking techniques. Crafted from meticulously hand-selected, perfectly ripe agave, Komos offers four exquisite expressions - Añejo Cristalino, Reposado Rosa, Añejo Reserva, and Extra Añejo.

Originally launched in the US in 2020, Komos now extends its reach to India with Chason Beverages spearheading its marketing and distribution efforts. Komos is currently available in India at select premium on-trade outlets, including renowned establishments like The Claridges Hotel, Ophelia, Cozy Box, Dirty Good and many others.

Komos Añejo Cristalino, a product of being aged for one year in French oak white wine barrels, delivers a smooth, crystal-clear spirit with notes of sugared pineapple, fresh agave and lime zest on the nose; leaving a warmth on the palate and a seamless finish.

Komos Reposado Rosa, a product of being aged for two months in French Oak red wine barrels from Napa Valley, is a rich, delicate tequila with natural pink hue derived from grape skins. Its palate delights with flavours of fresh agave, butterscotch, and dark chocolate, leading to a long and smooth finish with hints of blackberries, plums, and dark cherries.

Komos Añejo Reserva is a product of a minimum 12-month aging process in meticulously selected blend of barrels, including French oak red and white wine, American bourbon, and sherry casks. The culmination of this process is a luxurious tequila showcasing delightful fruit flavours influenced by sherry casks.

Komos Extra Añejo, the product of being aged for a minimum of three years in French oak white wine barrels and American oak whiskey barrels offers a palate of dried orange peels, candied ginger, and toasted pecans.

Encased in handmade ceramic bottles that pay homage to Mediterranean craftsmanship, Komos bottles exude sophistication and elegance, designed for effortless upcycling.
