Sofitel Mumbai BKC celebrates brand’s diamond jubilee

Sofitel Mumbai BKC marked the 60th anniversary of the global Sofitel brand with a dazzling Moulin Rouge-themed soirée on June 28, 2024. The event, held in collaboration with Travel + Leisure India and Lifestyle Asia India, saw a gathering of prominent guests, media figures, and leading influencers at Mumbai's BKC district.

Manish Dayya, General Manager of Sofitel Mumbai BKC, commenced the celebration with a heartfelt speech, reflecting on Sofitel’s 60-year journey and its 12-year presence in India through its flagship hotel in Mumbai. Jean-Marc Séré-Charlet, the Consul General of France in Mumbai, attended as the Chief Guest, adding a touch of international elegance to the event.

Speeches by Rahul Gangwani, Editor of Lifestyle Asia, and Simon Clays, Editorial Director of Travel + Leisure, emphasized the strong and enduring partnership between their publications and Sofitel Mumbai BKC. The evening was graced by notable personalities such as Kritika Kamra, Kusha Kapila, Malini, Gurfateh Pirzada, Pallavi Singh, and Tanuj Garg.

Enhancing the sensory experience, a perfume bar by Scentido offered guests a unique olfactory journey. The evening’s culinary highlight featured a selection of exquisite French cuisine, showcasing the culinary expertise of the Sofitel Mumbai BKC team.
