Pernod Ricard has introduced Chivas Regal Takumi Reserve, a 12-year-old spirit drink selectively finished in premium sake casks.

Created in collaboration with Japan's renowned Masuizumi sake brewery, this new expression blends the delicate flavors of sake with Chivas Regal's signature smooth Scotch whisky.

Chivas and Masuizumi previously collaborated in 2018 to release Link 8888, a premium sake aged in ex-Chivas Regal barrels. For the Takumi Reserve, a bespoke blend of Chivas Regal was finished in casks previously used to age premium sake, resulting in a cross-cultural fusion of Japanese and Scottish flavors.

The launch is exclusive to Asia, with availability in Japan, Taiwan, the Philippines, and Cambodia.
