Recently, a licence to open a retail liquor store in the arrival area of Terminal-3 at the IGI airport was issued to the Delhi Consumer's Cooperative Wholesale Store Limited (DCCWS) by the Delhi government. According to the Delhi government, it is the first L-10 liquor store of its kind at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport by any Delhi government agency, under the ongoing excise policy. The forthcoming self-service outlet will remain open round the clock and have a walk-in experience, which will enable consumers to freely purchase their preferred liquor brands.
