DDFS celebrates 14th anniversary with Suntory Global Spirits

Delhi Duty Free (DDFS) marked its 14th anniversary with an exclusive event at The Oberoi, Gurgaon, in partnership with Suntory Global Spirits. The event celebrated the launch of the Kogei Collection, a luxury offering featuring Yamazaki Peated Malt Spanish Oak and Hakushu Peated Malt Spanish Oak. This collection, which is inspired by traditional Japanese craftsmanship and the natural surroundings of Suntory’s distilleries, is available exclusively in travel retail.

The evening featured a sophisticated cocktail hour, followed by an introduction from prominent food and lifestyle journalist Vir Sanghvi, who shared his enthusiasm for fine whisky and the unique offerings at Delhi Duty Free. Guests were then treated to an authentic Japanese dinner, expertly paired with Suntory’s premium whiskies: Toki, Hibiki, and Yamazaki.

The event’s décor, inspired by the iconic Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries, created an immersive experience for attendees. The highlight of the evening was the grand unveiling of the Kogei Collection by Vir Sanghvi, alongside key figures from Suntory Global Spirits and Delhi Duty Free. This milestone celebration underscored the successful partnership between DDFS and Suntory, which is aiming to elevate the luxury spirits market.
