Duty Free Americas partners with Ospree

Duty Free Americas has entered into a strategic global partnership with Mumbai Travel Retail Private Limited - Ospree, a subsidiary of Adani Airport Holdings Limited, marking a significant expansion into the European travel retail market.

The collaboration will focus initially on travel retail, with the launch of Le Marché Duty Free at the Eurotunnel French Terminal in Coquelles, near Calais. As part of the joint venture, the partners will develop a 1,000 sq. m. customer experience space. The Coquelles store will feature around 800 sq. m. of duty-free shopping space in the passenger terminal and an additional 75 sq. m. in the goods terminal, catering specifically to the duty-free needs of HGV drivers for the first time.

This partnership comes at a time when the European travel retail market is showing robust growth, with both companies aiming to capitalise on these favourable market conditions. Harshad Jain, Non-Aero CEO of Adani Airport Holdings Limited, hailed the venture as a major milestone for Mumbai Travel Retail Private Limited (Ospree), emphasising that combining their expertise with Duty Free Americas’ extensive experience will bring exceptional value to travellers.
