Johnnie Walker unveils the lightest Scotch whisky bottle

Johnnie Walker has launched a pathbreaking new product named Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ultra, which is positioned as the world’s lightest 70cl Scotch whisky glass bottle.

Weighing only 180g (without the closure), this limited-edition bottle marks a significant step forward in luxury packaging design. It boasts a sleek teardrop shape, departing from the iconic square bottle, and was created using innovative glass-blowing techniques.

Only 888 bottles of this whisky will be made, with a limited release set for 2025 (RRP £1000). The Blue Label Ultra will debut at the London Design Festival on 14^th  September, in partnership with design studio Marshmallow Laser Feast at the Old Selfridges Hotel. Johnnie Walker is offering its groundbreaking patent royalty-free to encourage industry wide sustainability progress.
