Monin Cup India 2024 showcases young mixology talent

Monin, India's leading syrup brand, has unveiled the 2024 Monin Cup Competition, calling on young bartenders aged 18-27 to display their mixology skills. This year's theme, "Low is More," highlights the growing trend of low and no-alcohol beverages, pushing participants to craft inventive cocktails using Monin's diverse product lineup.

Monin, India's leading syrup brand, has unveiled the 2024 Monin Cup Competition, calling on young bartenders aged 18-27 to display their mixology skills. This year's theme, "Low is More," highlights the growing trend of low and no-alcohol beverages, pushing participants to craft inventive cocktails using Monin's diverse product lineup. 

The competition kicked off in Kolkata on July 30th, followed by the second phase in Delhi on August 6th, where Himanshu Badola, Cheasong Yonzon Lama, and Deepika Shukla claimed the top three spots, respectively. The contest will continue in Bangalore, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. Beyond just a competitive platform, participants will receive guidance from Monin's expert team and leading mixologists.

Top contenders from India will advance to the Monin Cup Grand Finale at the brand's headquarters in Bourges, France, this December. Germain Araud, Managing Director of Monin India Pvt Ltd, stressed the competition's role in nurturing young talent and offering a global stage for India's emerging bartenders. 
The Monin Cup is a crucial initiative to foster skill development and innovation in mixology, paving the way for the future of the drinks industry.
