Ospree’s Avishek Bambii Das named Keeper of the Quaich

Avishek Bambii Das, CEO of Ospree Duty Free, has been inducted as a Keeper of the Quaich, one of the most prestigious honours in the Scotch whisky industry, during a grand ceremony at Blair Atholl Castle, Perthshire, Scotland, on 7th October.

The recognition celebrates individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the Scotch whisky world, with only a select few inducted each year.

Founded in 1988 by top Scotch producers like United Distillers and Highland Distilleries Co., the Keepers of the Quaich society currently has 3,093 members across 100 countries, making it a rare and coveted distinction within the industry.
