Petting through unforgettable moments

Located in the tranquil countryside near Mumbai and Pune, Lakeside Boheme-Inn is a charming pet-friendly getaway with its signature pet events that promise joy, relaxation, and unforgettable bonding experiences for pets and their owners. Danish Zakaria’s pet-friendly retreat's pet events are more than just events — they are an opportunity for pets and their loving owners to bond, relax, and create memories in a serene environment designed for them. It is a haven where nature, adventure, and holistic living come together to create memorable moments for both humans and their furry companions.

The latest such pet event was held on 9th November, and showcased an array of thoughtfully curated activities designed to bring pets and their owners closer together. Guests were welcomed with a personalised touch — each room featured a photo and nameplate of the furry guest, setting the tone for an inclusive and intimate experience. Upon arrival, a welcome bag packed with premium food, treats, and a special meal prepared by pet Chefs delighted the pets.

The day kicked off at 12:00 pm as guests settled in and familiarised themselves with the picturesque 70-acre property. Following a delicious lunch at 1:30 pm, families spent the afternoon unwinding in the serene outdoors. High tea at 4:00 pm marked the beginning of more interactive experiences, beginning with introductions in the cabana where different pet owners and their pets got to know each other.

The variety of fun-filled activities which ensued included Treasure Hunts, where owners got to team up with their pet to uncover hidden surprises; Musical Cones, where pets and parents playfully navigated through cones to music. Then there was Obstacle Courses, which were a test of agility and coordination for pets and their parents, filled with exciting challenges.

Evening festivities featured live music as guests dined under the stars, creating an atmosphere of relaxation and celebration that extended until 10 pm.

The following morning began with a thrilling off-leash trek at 6:30 am to the property’s private waterfalls, led by the resort’s beloved therapy dog, Doobie. After the trek, guests gathered at the café for a hearty breakfast and indulged in a rejuvenating pool session where dogs and humans alike cooled off.

The event concluded with an awards ceremony at 10:30 am, recognising the spirit and enthusiasm of the participants. Occasionally, grooming sessions by pet-friendly brands brought in an extra layer of indulgence for pets.
