Pernod Ricard to sell Glenallachie distillery
Pernod Ricard, the world’s No.2 in wines and spirits, announced the signing of an agreement with Billy Walker, Graham Stevenson and Trisha Savage of The Glenallachie Consortium, for the sale of the Scotland-based Glenallachie distillery. The consortium is an independent Scottish company producing whiskies and offering a premium selection, and the acquisition had been so far operating through Pernod Ricard’s subsidiary, Chivas Brothers Limited.
The transaction includes the Glenallachie single malt brand, and MacNair’s and White Heather blended scotch brands.
