ED files its second chargesheet

The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) has filed its second chargesheet in the controversial Delhi liquor policy case. 12 accused people have been named by the central probe agency in this chargesheet, out of whom five were previously arrested. In the chargesheet seven companies have been mentioned as accused.

Delhi’s Deputy CM, Manish Sisodia whose name has surfaced in connection with the now withdrawn Delhi liquor policy and who was mentioned in CBI’s FIR as accused in the case, has not been mentioned in ED’s chargesheets. However, CBI has also not mentioned Sisodia in its chargesheet though it maintained that investigation against Sisodia was going on
