New Master of Botanicals for Bacardi

New Update
New Master of Botanicals for Bacardi

Following the retirement of Ivano Tonutti, Alessandro Garneri has been appointed as Bacardi’s new Master of Botanicals.

In his new position, Garneri will be in charge of ensuring the consistency in quality and flavour of each botanical used to make Bombay Sapphire, Martini, St-Germain Elderflower, and Noilly Prat vermouth, as well as Bénédectine liqueur; from the field to the bottle.

Alessandro Garneri has a rich work experience with Bacardi for more than 17 years. Since 2017, Garneri has served as the Director of the Business of the Global Botanicals Centre in Geneva, where he oversaw the installation of ‘cutting-edge’ technology at the plant and "pushed boundaries" in sustainable sourcing.
