Beam Suntory enters into the mezcal segment

Beam Suntory has announced that it has partnered with Mezcal Amarás, a premium and sustainability-focused mezcal brand that creates handcrafted, high-quality mezcal products derived from the agave fields of Oaxaca, Guerrero, and Durango, in a strategic distribution partnership for the US market.

Beginning on 1st July, Beam Suntory will import Mezcal Amarás and use its current distribution network to distribute its goods in a number of US states. Mezcal Amarás is popular not only in Mexico but also in more than 24 other countries, including the UK, Spain and China.

Mezcal Amarás is available in three core expressions which are Amarás, Amarás Logia, and Verde Amarás.

Amarás is a super-premium offering that can introduce mezcal drinkers to new agave flavours and terroirs. It is perfect for sipping due to its smoothness. Amarás Logia is an ultra-premium and prestige offering with limited edition and a one-of-a-kind product elaborated with unique agaves. Verde Amarás has a taste profile that is ideal for mixology. It is a premium mezcal meant for cocktails and those new to mezcal.
