Warning to Tasmac staff by TN's Excise Minister

S. Muthusamy, the Minister in-charge of Prohibition, Excise, and Molasses in Tamil Nadu, has issued a warning to the Tasmac’s staff that they risk suspension if they are found charging customers more than the maximum retail price for the liquor products.

The Minister’s response was induced by the complaints that Tasmac liquor shop employees frequently collected more money for liquor products, which was more than their MRP.

While touring Tasmac stores in the Erode district, the Minister stated that the problem was serious and that a long time would be needed to find a long-lasting solution to that malady.
