SC reserves its order on Sisodia’s bail plea

The Supreme Court has reserved its order on the former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia's bail plea in connection with the alleged scam in the now scrapped Delhi liquor policy case.

Earlier, the apex court pulled up CBI and ED while stating that they cannot keep Sisodia in jail for an "indefinite period" in the excise policy cases. SC asked Additional Solicitor General SV Raju, who appeared for the two probe agencies, that when will the arguments on charges against the AAP leader begin in the trial court.

During the bail hearing of Manish Sisodia, Additional Solicitor General, SV Raju, on being asked by SC that why arguments on charges levelled against Sisodia had not not yet began, said that the Enforcement Directorate and the Central Bureau of Investigation were contemplating making Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) an accused in the ongoing investigation in the Delhi liquor policy case.
