Radico Khaitan reports 19.4 percent rise in Q2 net profit

India’s premier alcobev company Radico Khaitan Ltd. reported a 19 percent increase in its consolidated net profit,which reached Rs 64.83 crore for the second quarter of the current fiscal, which ended on 30th September 2023. However, the company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 54.48 crore in the corresponding period of a year ago, according to the company’s regulatory filings.

As per the financial statements for the second quarter of the 2023-24 fiscal, the company’s revenue increased 23.1 percent to reach Rs 371.5 crore. Company’s sales in the premium segment, which includes brands such as Jaisalmer Gin and Magic Moments Vodka, escalated 22 percent to reach 2.8 million cases, during the second quarter of the current financial year.

However, the company’s sales of the low-priced segment plunged 16.5 percent to reach 3.2 million cases, during the second quarter of the 2023-24 fiscal. Its revenue from operations was Rs 3,715.05 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 3,018.56 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. The total expenses of Radico Khaitan during the second quarter of the current fiscal stood at Rs 3,632.44 crore.
