ED summons K Kavitha in Delhi liquor policy case

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued summons to K Kavitha, who is a leader of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and daughter of the former Chief Minister of Telangana, K Chandrasekhar Rao. She has to appear before ED on 16th January because of that. Kavitha was summoned a second time for questioning in relation to the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy.

She was first questioned by ED in March 2023 in the case. It is alleged that she was in touch with AAP’s communication in-charge Vijay Nair, who was meeting businessmen from the liquor industry and politicians at the time of formulation and implementation of the now scrapped excise policy of Delhi.
