Chef Gary Mehigan and The Ardmore bring special dining experiences
Beam Suntory has partnered with Celebrity Chef, Gary Mehigan, known for his culinary finesse, to bring an exclusive dining experience in Gurgaon, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, in association with Conosh, featuring the exceptional The Ardmore.
The events in Gurugram, Bengaluru and Hyderabad took place on 31st March, 5th-6th April and 12th April respectively, inviting gastronomy enthusiasts, whisky connoisseurs, and food critics alike to experience the convergence of Chef Gary’s culinary talent and The Ardmore’s commitment to excellence.
Chef Gary’s deep affection for India, evident from his visits to the country, adds a profound cultural connection to this collaboration. In this unique partnership, Chef Gary Mehigan elevated the culinary scene in India, celebrating the art of gastronomy and craftsmanship.
The highlight of the events was the exquisite pairing of Chef Gary’s culinary creations with the premium offering of The Ardmore. The Ardmore offers a lightly peated liquid that is sweet and uplifting. It encapsulates the essence of the natural environment where the whisky is crafted with pristine local ingredients – water, barley and peat.
On the nose, this light honey-coloured whisky offers heather honey with hints of cinnamon and toffee bonbon along with very subtle hints of peat smoke. On the palate, it gives a creamy vanilla spice that gives way to more overt smoky charcoal notes, especially with the addition of water.
The whisky has a rich and smoky flavour and unlike many other single malts it is chill-filtered, which means that it retains its original aroma.
