Sisodia moves bail pleas before Delhi HC

After rejection of bail plea by a Delhi court, the former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi and AAP leader, Manish Sisodia moved bail applications before the Delhi High Court on the case filed by the ED and CBI probes on the alleged Delhi excise policy scam.

Delhi HC is set to hear bail applications on 3rd May 2024. The two petitions are listed before a single-judge bench. On 30th April, the trial court had denied bail to Sisodia in both the cases. While denying bail to Sisodia, the trial court observed that the accused were causing a delay in the trial of the excise policy case by filing certain frivolous applications.
