Food Superstars 2024 Names Hussain Shahzad as India’s Top Chef

Culinary Culture celebrated the conclusion of the third edition of Food Superstars – India’s Top 30 Chefs on October 21, 2024, in Udaipur, with Chef Hussain Shahzad claiming the No. 1 spot for his work at The Bombay Canteen, O Pedro, and Papa’s.

Culinary Culture celebrated the conclusion of the third edition of Food Superstars – India’s Top 30 Chefs on October 21, 2024, in Udaipur, with Chef Hussain Shahzad claiming the No. 1 spot for his work at The Bombay Canteen, O Pedro, and Papa’s. Hosted by Vir Sanghvi, Chairman of Culinary Culture, the awards recognized chefs for their innovation and influence on India’s vibrant culinary scene.

“We are immensely grateful for the industry’s continued support of this platform,” said Raaj Sanghvi, CEO of Culinary Culture. He added, “Congratulations to Hussain and all the Food Superstars for fostering an inspiring community of chefs.” The event also honoured the late Imtiaz Qureshi with the Legend Chef Award and inducted former top chefs Regi Mathew and Manish Mehrotra into the Hall of Fame.

Food Superstars stands out for its independent selection process, with over 40 Food Hunters scouting talent across the country, all reviewed by a Secret Jury led by Vir Sanghvi.

The two-day event also featured insightful panel discussions as part of Culinary Conversations.
