India’s first jaggery rum set to launch in Bengaluru

India's first jaggery rum, named Huli, is set to debut in the market on 15^th August 2024. Developed by Founders Arun Urs and Chandra S, this handcrafted, single-origin rum has been refined over eight years.

Produced at the first micro-distillery in Nanjangud Taluk, Mysuru, Huli, including excise duties and additional charges, is expected to be priced around Rs. 2800.

The initial batch of the beverage comprises only 2,000 bottles, available exclusively in Bengaluru. With its launch, Huli aims to carve out a niche in the premium spirits market, offering a distinct taste rooted in traditional Indian ingredients.
