Indri’s global triumphs

Piccadily Distilleries’ Indri Single Malt Indian Whisky has been crowned ‘Whisky of The Year’ at the USA Spirit Rating Awards 2024. This prestigious award signifies a new benchmark for excellence; surpassing renowned international and domestic competitors.

Indri Single Malt has also secured a place among the ‘Top 15 Whiskies of the Year’ at the 2024 International Whisky Competition (IWC), ranking 8th worldwide at the competition. This is a remarkable accomplishment, especially considering the whiskies which ranked higher in the competition are over 22 years old. The Indri Founder’s Reserve 11-Year-Old Wine Cask is the only Indian whisky to achieve this distinction, further enhancing its global reputation.

At the USA Spirit Rating Awards, Indri Single Malt achieved a clean sweep, winning five medals — more than any other Indian single malt whisky. Indri Dru, one of its variants, earned titles such as ‘Whisky of The Year’, ‘Single Malt Whisky of The Year’, ‘Best Spirit of The Year by Country’, and a gold medal with an impressive 95 points. Another variant, Indri Trini, also garnered a gold medal, scoring 90 points.

Indri’s success continued on the international stage, with Indri Dru winning a gold medal at the Meininger’s International Spirit Award in Germany and a superior gold medal at the Tokyo Whisky and Spirits Competition. Additionally, the Indri Founder’s Reserve 11-Year-Old Wine Cask won a gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
