Johnnie Walker has introduced a limited-edition 52-year-old blended whisky to celebrate the legacy of its founder John Walker and his son Alexander Walker.
Limited to just 200 bottles, the blend features eight rare whiskies from the brand’s oldest reserves, including liquid from closed distilleries. The single grain whiskies, sourced from Cambus and Carsebridge, bring rich notes of vanilla, butterscotch, and spice.
Malt whiskies, including Blair Athol, Glenury Royal, Glenlochy, Glen Albyn, Dalwhinnie, and Brora, add layers of complexity with flavours ranging from tropical fruits, confectionery berries, and cacao to salinity, cured meat, and soft smoke.
Bottled at 41.2 percent ABV, the blend retails for USD 25,000 and can be bought through Diageo private client teams and selected luxury retail outlets.
