Krombacher Brauerei, Germany’s largest privately owned brewery, has launched its premium beer variants in India in partnership with NGS Beverages. The rollout includes Krombacher Hell, Krombacher Pils, and Krombacher Spezi, starting in Mumbai with plans to expand to other Indian cities.s

Oliver Braun, Managing Director of  Krombacher Brauerei launched his beer variants at Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach. The event featured beer tastings and discussions on the brand’s entry into the Indian market.

aWhile talking to Spiritz, Oliver expressed excitement over beer’s entry in India, “I am extremely proud and excited that we are finally here, despite knowing all the challenges associated with the Indian market. We are here with a great partner and a good business plan.” Additionally, he highlighted India’s potential, emphasising the need for reduced trade barriers to foster greater international business exchange.

Krombacher’s entry signifies the growing demand for international premium beers in India, aligning with the evolving preferences of the Indian consumers.
