Pernod Ricard India becomes the largest Indian spirit maker

According to a regulatory filing, Pernod Ricard India has achieved the distinction of becoming the  largest Indian spirit maker in India in terms of revenue, with a consolidated sales revenue of Rs 26,773.22 crore in FY24. Its rival Diagio-owned United Spirits has secured the second rank in this parameter. United Spirits Ltd (USL) garnered Rs 26,018 crore in revenue from operations for the fiscal ended 31st March 2024. In FY23, USL had reported Rs. 27,816 crore as its revenue from operations.

As per the Registrar of Companies’ data accessed by business intelligence platform Tofler, Pernod Ricard India  Pvt Ltd’s revenue from operations for FY24 increased by an overall 6.9 percent and its profits in FY24 increased by 20.9 percent, to reach Rs.1620.58 crore.  In the financial year  ended on March 2024, total income of PRI increased by 7.09 percent to reach Rs 26,936.51 crore whereas USL generated a total income of Rs 26,243 crore during FY24.
