Rebecca Jago, Managing Director of The Last Drop Distillers, has officially stepped down after over a decade with the company. She announced her departure on LinkedIn in December 2024, reflecting on her journey and expressing gratitude for her time at The Last Drop.

“On December 31, 2024, I will step down as Managing Director of The Last Drop Distillers, after more than 10 wonderful years. I joined the business in 2014 and was part of the team that managed the sales of the company to Sazerac in 2016. In the years since then, we have seen this remarkable business grow in size, profitability, and reputation to become a highly respected and renowned luxury spirits brand, proud to be part of the Sazerac Company’s portfolio,” she shared in her post.

Founded in 2008 by Rebecca Jago’s late father, Tom Jago, alongside James Espey, The Last Drop Distillers has gained global acclaim for its luxury spirits. The company was acquired by Sazerac in 2016, further cementing its position in the premium spirits market.

Rebecca hinted, I have now stepped down from The Last Drop Distillers and will be exploring new opportunities in 2025.” But, she has not yet disclosed details about her next role.
