UBL expands Amstel Grande to WB

United Breweries Limited (UBL) has launched Amstel Grande, a premium Dutch beer, in West Bengal.

The company launched the brand in India last month, with its first launch in Mumbai. With this launch, UBL introduced a new era of premium beers in India, combining brewing excellence with over 150 years of legacy from Amsterdam.

The Amstel Grande beer is slowly brewed and matured longer, allowing its flavours to fully develop, resulting in a rich, smooth taste.

Speaking about the launch in West Bengal, Vikram Bahl, Chief Marketing Officer of UBL, said, “West Bengal has always been a significant market for UBL, and we are now excited to expand our portfolio with this premium offering in the region. We aim to make it a preferred choice for premium beer enthusiasts.”

The Dutch beer is available at leading outlets across the state. While a 330ml bottle is priced at Rs 110, a larger 650ml bottle can be bought for Rs 210 in West Bengal.
