The UP Distillers' Association (UPDA) has announced its leadership for 2024-25 following its Annual General Meeting on October 15, 2024, at the PHD Chamber, New Delhi. S.K. Shukla of India Glycols Limited has been re-elected as President, while Alok Kumar Agarwal of Radico Khaitan Ltd. takes on the role of Vice President. Rajneesh Agarwal has been named as Secretary General of the association.

The association praised the new leadership, emphasizing plans to address industry challenges and push for necessary policy reforms. With Shukla’s business acumen and Agarwal’s financial expertise, UPDA aims to strengthen its voice in shaping the future of the distillery sector.

On the election of the leadership, in a statement, UPDA said, “We will address the pressing challenges across the distillery Industry, advocating for the policy reforms necessary to fulfill our shared aspirations.
