Uppal Brewers to launch Soorahi whisky next month

Industry veteran Ankur Sachdeva and Manish Uppal, Chairman and Managing Director of the Uppal Group, have partnered to establish Uppal Brewers & Distillers (UBD) with an aim to craft premium spirits.

Their debut spirit, Soorahi Finest Blended Indian Whisky, is set to launch in January 2025. Blending bold ideas with modern craftsmanship, Soorahi seeks to redefine the Indian whisky landscape.

The company also plans to introduce a range of premium spirits, reflecting a shared commitment to quality and innovation. “This entrepreneurial leap is an exciting challenge. Our focus is on creating brands that resonate with discerning consumers, and Soorahi is our first step,” said Ankur Sachdeva, CEO and Co-Founder, UBD.
