Wente wines shines on 2024 Top 100 Wine Lists

Wente Vineyards, America’s 141-year-old family-owned winery from Livermore Valley, has earned prestigious spots on both Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast’s coveted 2024 Top 100 wine lists.

Wente’s Morning Fog Chardonnay was ranked 40^th on Wine Spectator’s list, which evaluates wines on quality, value, availability, and excitement. Meanwhile, the winery’s 2021 Charles Wetmore Cabernet Sauvignon secured the 52 ^nd spot on Wine Enthusiast’s ‘The Enthusiast 100’, selected from 23,000 blind tastings.

Expressing enthusiasm on the achievements for Wente’s wines, Aly Wente, Senior Vice-President and fifth-generation wine grower, said, “At 141 years young, we continue to strive for new heights in sustainability and innovation, and it’s a thrill to see our wines recognised among such distinguished peers.”
