CBI accuses Kavitha to tweaking of Delhi liquor policy

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) stated in its chargesheet that Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party's leader K Kavitha was involved in the manipulation and tweaking of the Delhi liquor policy.

CBI noted that during the investigation, the role of the accused, Kavitha has surfaced not only in the collection of upfront money but also in the transfer of ill-gotten money to Goa through the Hawala channel, as per the report.

The Rouse Avenue Court took cognizance of the supplementary chargesheet filed against K Kavitha by the CBI, in the Delhi Excise Policy case. The court, after taking cognizance of the supplementary chargesheet has directed to produce Kavitha before the bench on 26^th July.
