Deaths due to spurious liquor

Close to twenty people have succumbed to their death and many are hospitalised after consuming  spurious liquor in Siwan and Saran district of Bihar. Prohibition was imposed in Bihar eight years earlier. Search was on for more sick people, who could be hiding fearing legal action.

Over the years, consumption of spurious liquor has led to deaths of many in Bihar.
