Kerala State Beverages (Manufacturing & Marketing) Corporation Ltd (BEVCO) has increased prices of Indian-made foreign liquor, beer, and wine by up to 10 percent, following requests from liquor manufacturing companies. The price hike ranges from ₹10 to ₹50 across various brands and will take effect from Monday.
Liquor pricing in Kerala is determined by a ‘rate contract’ between BEVCO and manufacturers, with revisions approved after annual discussions.
BEVCO has released a revised price list impacting 341 brands from 62 companies. While some brands remain unaffected, the majority of liquor products in the state will see an increase.
